The World of Hyatt Credit Card currently has a best-ever welcome bonus of five free nights after spending $4,000 on purchases in the first three months from account opening. But that’s not all.

Airline loyalty program promotions (October 2024)
Airline loyalty programs can offer trip discounts on certain dates, the chance to earn more miles for future travel and deals to rack up points toward elite status. Below are some of the offers we found for October.
Become an SAS EuroBonus millionaire by flying SkyTeam
To mark its recent switch from Star Alliance to SkyTeam, Scandinavian Airlines’ SAS EuroBonus program is launching an offer worth up to — wait for it — 1 million miles. The more SkyTeam airlines you fly this fall, the more points you can earn. Here’s how it works:
- Earn 10,000 SAS EuroBonus bonus points when you fly five different SkyTeam airlines, 100,000 bonus points when you fly 10 SkyTeam airlines or 1,000,000 bonus points when you fly 15 SkyTeam airlines. The number of airlines is based on the operating carrier, not the ticketing carrier, so you could get credit for multiple airlines on a single ticket if each leg is operated by a different carrier.
- Eligible flights include both paid and award tickets. Bookings made prior to the promotion but flown during the travel window also count toward this promotion.
- You must first register through the SAS app, then complete your trips by Dec. 31, 2024.

Hotel loyalty program promotions (October 2024)
Hotel loyalty programs occasionally offer discounted stays, ways to earn extra points and deals at various properties. We collected this month’s best deals below.
Earn 8,000 Choice points when you stay 2 nights
If you’re traveling this fall and winter, Choice Hotels has a great opportunity to boost your Choice Privileges points balance.
- Earn 8,000 Choice points when you stay two or more consecutive nights at a participating hotel. WoodSpring Suites, Mainstay Suites, Everhome Suites, Suburban Studios and Ascend Hotel Collection all-inclusive resorts, among others, are not participating brands.
- You can take advantage of this offer up to three times during the promotion period, so you could earn a maximum of 24,000 bonus points if you complete three separate qualifying stays of two-plus nights.
- This offer is only valid for qualifying paid stays, which exclude reward nights and rooms booked below certain rates. You must book your stay through a qualifying channel, such as the Choice website, mobile app or phone line. Stays booked through Book by Google are also eligible, as long as you add your Choice Privileges number to your reservation prior to check-in.
- Register and stay by Jan. 5, 2025.
Earn triple Accor points at North and Central American hotels
Does the impending winter have you daydreaming of a beach getaway? Or, maybe you have your eye on a snowy ski trip? Either way, Accor’s latest promotion could be for you.
- Earn three times the Accor Live Limitless points you’d normally get on stays of one night or more in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, Panama and Brazil at select brands, including Fairmont, Sofitel, Swissotel, Novotel and Raffles.
- To qualify, your stay must be booked through the Accor site or a participating brand site, the Accor app or the Accor call center.
- You can use this offer up to five times during the travel window.
- Register and book by Dec. 31, 2024, and stay by Jan. 31, 2025.
Get $15 in OneKeyCash for downloading the Hotels.com app
If you prefer to stay at independent properties or aren’t loyal to any particular hotel brand, you may want to look into One Key, the shared loyalty program of Hotels.com, Expedia and Vrbo. The program is currently offering $15 in OneKeyCash to use toward a future stay — and all you have to do is download the app.
- To claim your OneKeyCash, download the Hotels.com app, then click on the provided link and sign into your valid Hotels.com account in the app.
- There is no published end date, but your $15 bonus OneKeyCash will expire 90 days after you claim it.

Credit card promotions (October 2024)
Card issuers sometimes offer deals and discounts for certain cardholders on everything from airfare to restaurant dining. Here are some of the offers we’ve rounded up this week.
Targeted Chase Offer at Chase Travel
Not only can select Chase cardholders earn bonus points and redeem points through the Chase Travel℠ portal, but with this Chase Offer, you can get a nice chunk of cash back on your next booking through the portal. We’ve seen this on multiple cards, including the Chase Sapphire Preferred, so you could potentially break up a larger travel booking over multiple cards to earn even more cash back.
- Earn $100 cash back when you spend $500 or more in a single purchase on Chase Travel, including taxes and after any discounts.
- Offer expires Oct. 31, 2024.
- As with all Chase Offers, you must add the offer to your card and make the payment with your enrolled card.
Targeted Chase Offer at Hyatt Place
Here’s another handy Chase Offer that can save you money on your next Hyatt Place stay, which we found on the Chase Freedom Unlimited®.
- Earn 10% cash back on your Hyatt Place stay when you spend $100 or more directly with the merchant, with a $40 cash-back maximum.
- Full payment must be made by Nov. 8, 2024.
Targeted Amex Offer at Air France and KLM
Targeted Amex cardmembers can take advantage of a lucrative offer on their next Air France or KLM flight. Depending on your offer, you can earn cash back or Membership Rewards points — which may be worth even more than cash if you transfer them to partners.
- Earn a one-time $200 statement credit or 20,000 Membership Rewards points (depending on your offer) after using your card to spend a minimum of $1,000 on one or more Air France or KLM flights.
- Qualifying flights must originate in the U.S. and be paid for in dollars. You must book them at airfrance.us or klm.us (rather than an online travel agency or American Express Travel, for instance).
- The offer is valid through Dec. 31, 2024.
- As with all Amex Offers, you must enroll your card in this offer before making a qualifying purchase.

Ongoing travel deals

- Some IHG One Rewards members are being targeted for a promotion to earn 12,000 bonus points by staying twice in 60 days. There is no minimum night requirement as long as you spend $30 for each stay. See if you’re eligible and register for the promotion here.
- Earn double Wyndham Rewards points at these new hotels. You don’t need to register for this promotion, and there is no published end date.
- If you hold elite status with Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, Delta Air Lines or United Airlines, you can earn comparable JetBlue Mosaic status for three months with the airline’s Match to Mosaic offer. See what level you’re eligible for and submit your status match application here. There is no published end date for this offer.
- This 2024-25 football season, Washington state residents can earn 1 Delta SkyMile for every yard the Seattle Seahawks pass for, thanks to Delta Air Lines’ 12Status promotion. You’ll also get priority (Group 5) boarding on departure flights at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) until the end of the Seahawks’ 2024-25 season and a 12% discount at Seahawks Pro Shop retail stores on the 12th of each Seahawks in-season month. You must first register here (even if you’ve registered for Delta 12Status in previous years).
- Earn double points on select Hyatt international stays at participating hotels in Europe, Africa, the Middle East and the Asia-Pacific region. - Save 15% on award nights when you stay at a new or newly renovated property in IHG’s portfolio. You can register and see the list of participating properties here. This offer is ongoing, and eligible properties are updated regularly; you can currently book through Nov. 30, 2024.
- Earn 1,000 Lufthansa Miles & More bonus miles per stay at participating Hyatt hotels and resorts and participating Mr & Mrs Smith properties in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Register by Oct. 16, 2024, and stay by Oct. 31, 2024.
- Earn 250 bonus Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer miles when you join Marriott Bonvoy. Create your free Bonvoy account here by Oct. 18, 2024, and be sure to enter your KrisFlyer number and set your earning preference to KrisFlyer miles when you sign up.

- Earn IHG One Rewards Platinum Elite status when you stay five qualifying nights in a club room at a participating InterContinental Hotels & Resorts property. - Earn bonus Spirit Airlines Free Spirit points for completing an eligible round-trip flight at any time in 2024. Register with your Free Spirit number to redeem this offer. Travel must be completed by Dec. 31, 2024.

Remember that these are targeted, and you must activate the offers before making eligible purchases to enjoy the cash back or bonus points.
